Full IB Curriculum
Tashkent International School is accredited by CIS and NEASC and is an authorized IB World School that offers 3 programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for students in preschool through grade 5; the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students in grades 6 through 10; and the Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 11 and 12. English is the language of instruction throughout the school and all students learn an additional language. Learning benefits from small class sizes and the diverse language and educational backgrounds of the students. The academic curriculum is balanced with a pastoral program that focuses on well-being as well as personal and social emotional learning. Students also have many opportunities to join activities and athletics to challenge themselves and explore learning in new ways.

Child Protection Policy
Tashkent International School adheres to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, of which the host country, Uzbekistan, is a signatory. Therefore, it is the policy of the Board that every student who attends TIS has the right to be safe and secure. Schools fill a special institutional role in society as protectors of children and need to ensure that all children in their care are afforded a safe and secure environment in which to grow and develop, both at school and, to the extent possible, at other locations. Educators, having the opportunity to observe and interact with children over time, are in a unique position to identify children who are in need of help and protection. As such, educators have a professional and ethical obligation to identify children who are in need of help and protection, and to take steps to ensure that the child and family avail themselves of the services needed to remedy any situation that constitutes child abuse or neglect.
