Tashkent International School

School Board

The School Board at Tashkent International School (TIS) is responsible for setting strategic direction, approving the annual budget and appointing the director. The daily running of the school is administered by the director, together with the faculty and support staff.

The school board consists of nine voting members, including a representative of the ambassador of the United States. Any parent of a TIS student is eligible for election to the board.

Board members serve for two years.  Elections take place every April/May at the Annual General Meeting of parents.  Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 6 pm.  Meeting dates are posted on the school calendar on the website and also on the noticeboard in the school office.
