Tashkent International School (TIS) hires experienced faculty and teaching staff from around the world, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Latvia, New Zealand, Turkey, South Korea, Australia, Armenia, South Africa, India, Mexico, and Uzbekistan.

TIS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering all three IB programmes – Primary Years for preschool through grade 5; Middle Years for grades 6 through 10; and the Diploma Programme for grades 11 and 12. In the 2012-2013 school year there are 472 students enrolled in preschool through grade 12, including more than 220 secondary students.  The TIS student body represents more than 40 countries.
