The Elementary Student Council at Tashkent International School is sponsoring the second annual used toy and household goods Winter Bazaar on Thursday, December 18 to raise support for the Kibray orphanage.
TIS students can bring in gently used toys, household items and decorations starting Monday, December 15. For every two items donated the student will receive credit to purchase one item at the Bazaar. The Bazaar will run from 3:30 to 4:15 on December 18 in the MPR. All goods will be reasonably marked, and will make fun gifts for family members.
Ideas for donated items include candles, decorative dishware, board games, stuffed animals, and other toys. It’s a great way to clean out the clutter and to help others!
The TIS Elementary Student Council has supported the Kibray orphanage for more than three years. They have collected clothing and toy donations for the orphanage, raised funds to purchase needed equipment and have helped in other ways. The Kibray orphanage is a home for children age birth to seven years.
