On Monday, February 24, the Grade 11 Diploma Programme visual art students will mount their first public exhibition. The opening event will run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre. The exhibition is free.
This is an important event for these young artists and is a great opportunity for the TIS community to engage with the rigorous demands of the course. The exhibition is a ‘work-in-progress’ event, which captures both teacher-guided and independent, conceptual work which may still be in the process of development.
The arts department warmly encourages everyone to attend to look at some of the amazing works created and discuss the work with the student artists.
