For the second year in a row, grade 10 visual art students, under the direction of their teacher Ronald Kleijer, will leave their mark on the stairwells of the main building at Tashkent International School.
This year, four groups of student artists have designed four wall paintings based on the idea of community and international mindedness. Each group has gone through a selection process in which they had to explain their designs in the light of the themes. The last week in October the students were busy drawing their designs in the staircases next to the elementary music room and between the second and third floors near the secondary library.
The groups recently started with their first layers of paint. Please mind everyone to be careful when students are working and NOT to touch the walls because the paint might still be wet.
