Grade 10 students and parents should attend an information meeting on Thursday, August 29 to learn more about the Middle Years Programme Personal Project, which is a required part of the MYP curriculum. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the secondary open house, from 3:45 to 5 p.m., in the MPR and the Black Box Theatre on the second floor of the main building.
During Grade 10, each student is required to complete a Personal Project. The Personal Project puts to use a combination of skills and knowledge acquired throughout the MYP and allows students to use these skills to inquire about a topic of their choosing. Through this project, each student will complete a product, process journal, and personal project report. The process is then celebrated through the student exhibition, which will take place in February.
At the meeting on August 29, there will also be an opportunity to ask questions about the Personal Project. We look forward to seeing all grade 10 students and parents!
