Secondary drama students will take on a hefty challenge the first weekend of September when they stage the third-annual 24-Hour Theatre production at Tashkent International School.
As the name implies, all aspects of this production take place in the course of just 24 hours. The students and teachers begin Friday night, September 6 by brainstorming ideas, writing the script, rehearsing parts and beginning stage and prop construction. They spend the night at the school and then begin fresh on Saturday morning, working throughout the day until the production is presented that evening.
The final product will be unveiled at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 7 in the Black Box Theatre.
An intense creative experience for everyone involved, the 24-Hour Theatre is an exciting event for students, teachers and audience members. Please join us on September 7 at 6:30 p.m. to see what this incredible group of theatre students has in store this year.
