Secret Santas Staying Busy

More than 70 Secret Santas are busy this week in the Middle School at Tashkent International School. The Middle School Student Council organized the Secret Santa event, which is involving students in grades 6, 7 and 8, plus numerous teachers.

Rules for the Secret Santas are simple. They were each secretly given the name of a teacher or student. Each day this week, leading up to winter break, they need to give their secret person a special treat, note or surprise, all while being secretive so that the gift recipient doesn’t know who his or her Secret Santa is until the big reveal at the end of the week! It’s a great opportunity to help brighten someone’s day while also experiencing the fun of trying to be secretive!

Good luck to all our Secret Santas in Middle School!

The Middle School STUCO also hosted a Movie Night on Friday, Dec. 7. This was the group’s second big event this school year for students in grades 6, 7 and 8. More than 30 students gathered to watch “Elf” in the MPR while also enjoying popcorn and having fun with their friends.

The STUCO plans to organize another open gym night in January after winter break. Watch this page for more details.
